Harry and David Tour

On Friday, October 21 all of the volunteers at the Teresa McCormick 
center were invited to take a tour of The Harry and David facility.  Harry
and David donates a lot of the items that we give to individuals and families
that come in to get food boxes.  It was a fun experience to see all of the  
production areas and how they do everything.  Harry and David produces 

and sells premium foods and gifts.  Their product lines include gift baskets, 

flowers and plants, fresh fruit, chocolates and sweets and wine.

This lady is packing pears to be put into gift boxes.  These individuals 

are extremely fast at what they do and are paid by the amount they 

package and not an hourly wage.  It wears me out watching them!
